Interview with Megan
What position do you hold at the International Skin Institute?
I am multi talented. Besides being the manager and personal assistant to Corli Du Plessis I also do some therapy, massage, manicure, pedicures and sugaring.
Megan, How long have you worked at ISI?
I started January 2005 after school and I am still here.
What do you enjoy most about your job?
I love working with people, clients always leave with a smile on their face–so satisfying.
I believe the clients say that you are the best masseuse they have ever been to. Did you always have a flair for massage?
Yes I have.
It sounds like you are a jack of all trades at the clinic. You are manager, personal assistant and therapist. Do you enjoy doing it all?
I do enjoy doing it all! Everyday is exciting, not one boring day.
Have you got any children?
I have 2 beautiful children, a son and a daughter.
Interview with Chanel
What position do you hold at the International Skin Institute?
I am a Paramedical Aesthician.
Chanel, when did you start working at ISI?
I started working at ISI on the 11th January 2022.
What do you enjoy most about your job?
I love interacting with clients and of course I LOVE facials!
I believe you are known for massage and people say you have “Healing hands”. Can you tell us what about massage it is that you enjoy?
I always put passion and positive energy into what I do. So it could possibly be my aura? Also I love it when clients can relax with my touch.
Please give us a little background on what you did before you joined the ISI team?
I studied at College Of Cape Town and I have a ITEC International qualification. Ive been in the industry for 8 years and specialised in Laser and Aesthetic treatments. I worked at A Medical Spa in Simons Town and a Laser Clinic in Pretoria.
How would you describe the treatments that you do at ISI. Are they very different from treatments at other clinics?
The treatments at ISI is very paramedical. I love that we can prescribe Dermaclinical supplements to clients . What really stood out was Danné Montaque King. This Skin brand is divergent to any other skin product. I personally think he is a genius!
We have heard via the grapevine that you are a very good singer. Are you going to use that talent in the future?
(Laughs) I do hope one day I get to pursue it! Lets wait and see. The sky is the limit.
